What is The Price of Vanity about?
Rhea Lane is the secret heiress of Oceanic Group, though she keeps her wealth hidden. In her past life, her roommate Faye Jennings posed as a rich girl, promised to pay for a luxury trip abroad, planted a virus on Rhea’s phone and spent her money on everyone’s shopping, then killed her. Now Rhea wakes up at the start of college with every memory intact. This time she leaves her bag on the plane and hands over only a basic keypad phone. Her greedy boyfriend, Chase, still chooses the ‘rich’ Faye, and at a high-end store Faye lets her friends run up a bill she cannot pay. As her lies crack, Faye will try anything to escape.
