Mia Young is twenty-two, a senior who has read Professor Evelyn's paper on desire and the subconscious more times than she can count. Evelyn is the top authority in psychology on campus — cold, brilliant and impossible to impress — and Mia's graduate interview goes wrong within a minute: take off your clothes, Evelyn tells her, or the door is right there.

Then Mia's mother collapses and needs surgery, and the hospital wants three hundred thousand dollars before Monday. Mia goes back to Evelyn's office. She will be the subject of Evelyn's study in sexual psychology on two conditions: formal admission as Evelyn's graduate student, and payment. Evelyn, who also runs a company that designs adult products, has her answer. The Professor's Reserved Graduate is a forbidden romance about a student, her professor and a very unusual contract.
