What is The Heiress Strikes Back about?
Eleanor Sovereign owns the Sovereign Group, and almost no one knows her face. For years she has worked as a cleaner so that her daughter Maya would grow up without money going to her head. On Mother's Day she decides it is time to tell her the truth — right after she watches Mark Nate, president of Nate Group, humiliate a young employee, and cancels his merger on the spot.
Maya has no idea. She is waiting tables at a Beverly Hills pool party, saving her tips to buy her boyfriend Weissen a watch for his birthday. The party belongs to Zora Nate, Mark's daughter, and Zora and her friends decide to make an example of the waitress. Then Weissen tells Maya their whole relationship was a bet with Zora.
They take her mother's keepsake, laugh when she says her mother's name is Eleanor Sovereign and make her eat cake off the floor — while Eleanor is already tracking her daughter's phone. The Heiress Strikes Back is a revenge short drama about a girl everyone took for nobody and the mother who owns them all.
