Hours after a stranger saves her from two men by pretending to be her girlfriend, 23-year-old architecture student Reese Calder comes home to meet her father’s new wife — the same woman. Sloane’s marriage to Gideon is a one-year contract, but the betrayal is real, and their attraction becomes a secret love.
