What is Redeemer: Vow of the Rose about?
Thea, a half-blood, once saved Ares, the god of war, and paid with her voice, bound by a vow. Olympus answers with humiliation: Ares chooses a dazzling nymph, and Thea becomes a bargaining chip in talks with the realm of the dead. She agrees to become the bride of the Underworld’s “monster” rather than stay among lying gods. King Hades hides his face behind a gladiator’s mask and first watches her as a bodyguard — and sees not a helpless victim but a woman who argues with Zeus and turns down Olympus’s treasures. At the feast of the gods, the legend Ares built begins to crack.
